A librarian helping a reader with large print books

Make a Noise in Libraries Fortnight is an annual campaign run by RNIB National Library Service. It aims to bring public libraries and blind and partially sighted people together to improve access to books and information.

The theme for MANIL 2010 is Conversation, Coffee and Cake - books are a great way to share experiences, explore ideas and link up with other people who share a passion for reading. For many blind and partially sighted people, reading also helps to reduce isolation and plays an essential role in their health and well-being.
