Participate
The Reading Agency has developed Participate as a new programme to build on Fulfilling their Potential and HeadSpace.
What libraries could, and should, be doing for young people is described in the national offer Libraries and Young People that has been developed by key organisations within the sector. The complete Library Offer can improve the outcomes for young people in their area, and help meet the government requirements set out in Aiming High. There are new funding streams from the DCSF to support Aiming High and Participate can help you to access this funding.
When planning for Participate or any other programme or project to engage young people please remember that blind and partially sighted young people also want to participate!
